Patch on the way for BATTLEFIELD 3

Details for an upcoming patch have been released, with screenshots.

If you, like me, have found the practically blinding flashlights a pain while playing Battlefield 3 then fear not, a patch is on the way. Over on his twitter account, Alan Kertz of DICE posted some screenshots to give us an idea as to what we can expect from the patch. The following are a reference picture, then a before and after. As you can see from the images above there is set to be a huge improvement to the flashlight attachment. While you can understand the developers desire for realism in their game, sometimes its just too much if it detracts from the enjoyment in gameplay, even more so when people know equipping a flashlight can result in a easy kill. Its essentially nice that DICE are listening to those who play and are making the changes. Sure the flashlight is much smaller, but it will still do the job intended without completely blinding you. The changes detailed in the images are confirmed for the next patch, however when this patch will be is unknown at the moment.
