9. Not ALL Of Gen 2 Has Been Added

Thanks to Pokémon GO's healthy player base, this one might be somewhat obvious, but let's just make sure all our bases are covered when it comes to which creatures were added for the Gen 2 update - because it's not all of them. The full list for the completionists (so far) is:

Chikorita, Bayleef, Meganium, Cyndaquil, Quilava, Typhlosion, Totodile, Croconaw, Feraligatr, Sentret, Furret, Hoothoot, Noctowl, Ledyba, Ledian, Spinarak, Ariados, Crobat, Chinchou, Lanturn, Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Togetic, Natu, Xatu, Mareep, Flaaffy, Ampharos, Bellossom, Marill, Azumarill, Sudowoodo, Politoed, Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluff, Aipom, Sunkern, Sunflora, Yanma, Wooper, Quagsire, Espeon, Umbreon, Murkrow, Slowking, Misdreavus, Unown, Wobbuffet, Girafarig, Pineco, Forretress, Dunsparce, Gligar, Steelix, Snubbull, Granbull, Qwilfish, Scizor, Shuckle, Heracross, Sneasel, Teddiursa, Ursaring, Slugma, Magcargo, Swinub, Piloswine, Corsola, Remoraid, Octillery, Mantine, Skarmory, Houndour, Houndoom, Kingdra, Phanpy, Donphan, Porygon2, Stantler, Tyrogue, Hitmontop, Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, Miltank, Blissey, Larvitar, Pupitar, Tyranitar.

However, what the game doesn't tell you, is that alongside the legendaries not being available (Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Ho-Ho and Lugia) there are still no character models in the game for Delibird and Smeargle. The Ice-type delivery bird and the Pokemon with a paintbrush for a tail are expected to have some sort of Ditto-esque event in the near future, so don't waste your time hunting around for them just yet.
