PS4: 10 Missing PlayStation Franchises That Must Return
It's long past time for Sir Dan.
There's no arguing that PlayStation have really upped their exclusive game this generation. Indeed, with brand new IP like Until Dawn, Horizon Zero Dawn and sequels like Uncharted 4 and NieR: Automata, it's clear that the PS4 isn't hurting for amazing games you can't get anywhere else.
Though, considering the long line of exclusive games and franchises that Sony still have under their belt from years gone by, it's surprising to see how many are currently missing on the PS4. Some of their most iconic franchises and characters still remain to be seen on the current generation, which is a massive shame considering how long some of these upcoming examples have been out of commission.
2017 already saw the return of Crash Bandicoot with the N. Sane Trilogy, and the massive success of that collection must be prompting developers and publishers the world over to start thinking about which other series' haven't been seen for quite some time.
Sony is one of the biggest goldmines for this, as many of their best franchises are stuck in the last two generations. Hopefully that changes going forward...
