Red Dead Online: 10 Essential Tips & Tricks You Need To Know

10. Join Story Matchmaking

If you're not particularly fussed about Red Dead Online's story, you could do a lot worse than to queue in a matchmaking lobby and partake in issues out of order. The latter stages of the game will net players payouts in the region of $100-ish dollars, as opposed to the earlier levels, which can fetch as little as a measly five bucks, or about 12 carrots for your horse.

Of course, the main issue here is that, once you've completed these missions, you won't get paid again. Whereas before players could repeatedly play story missions in GTA Online to net a quick and easy profit, they'll now have to look elsewhere.

It is, like many things in Red Dead Online, needlessly frustrating. However, the story missions are pretty enjoyable, and take between 10-15 minutes to complete. As a result, they should be every player's first port of call in looking to strike it rich in the open world.
