Red Dead Redemption: 7 Strangest Missions You Might Have Missed

Welcome to the Weird, Weird West.

Red Dead Redemption I Know You
Rockstar Games

Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption is a massive game, sprawling with details and things to do. But it's not always the straight edge, gritty Western epic that it appears to be on the surface.

Quite often, the game will indulge in the weirder side of the west.

Some of the side missions in Red Dead Redemption are as odd as they are interesting. Everything from cannibals to flying machines to people who have just lost their marbles a little, they're all represented in Stranger missions throughout Red Dead's game world.

With Red Dead Redemption 2 having been revealed with an amazing teaser trailer, I've been diving back in to the original game for another run. While replaying, I'm also re-experiencing some of these oddball side missions given to me by the Strangers marked on the game map.

With that in mind, I've compiled a list of the weirdest missions I've come across during my time with Red Dead Redemption, and the Undead Nightmare DLC (which to be fair, is all a bit mental).

Here are the 7 Strangest Red Dead Redemption Missions...

7. Let No Man Put Asunder

Let No Man Put Asunder is a relatively normal mission, recovering the man set to marry the lady who so desperately seeks our help. No problem.

There's a spanner in the works though, as after following the mission through to it's conclusion, we find out that her husband-to-be is dead. And not just recently, he's been dead a little while.

Now, that immediately raises the question of just how long has this old lady been waiting? She said he was late, but come on - a couple of hours at most you may have thought.

Wrong.
