Resident Evil: 7 Key Tips For Surviving An Actual Zombie Apocalypse

Blowout Gif First introduced in 1996, Resident Evil has become one of the greatest game series of all time, branching out as a multi-media franchise to include novels, movies, and loads of other merchandise. The series has single-handedly defined the survival horror genre during its time and later evolved outside of horror and into action, but despite this, the Resident Evil franchise still has its roots firmly embedded in the concept of survival. So that leads to a fairly pertinent question: if this franchise was indeed reality, and the world was brought to its knees by the rogue conspiracies of one malevolent corporations like Umbrella Corp, how many of you would have the knowledge and skill to survive? Having built up an arsenal of anti-walker knowledge over the franchise's many chapters, surely those of you who count yourselves as even slight Resident Evil fans would have at least a faint idea of the Dos and definite Don'ts of the Resident Evil universe? But, just in case you've skirted through the series without paying too much attention (under the optimistic assumption that we won't all have to fiercely defend our brains from hungry zombies,) here are seven tips for how to survive in a world run rampant with conspiracies, armies of the undead, and biological warfare.

7. Medical €“ Know Your Herbs

Herb The true key to survival in any environment is maintaining good health, and as any Resident Evil aficionado knows the best way to keep your health bar up is a decent supply of herbs and other medical aids. But then, you can't just gather every medical supply possible: what are the chances that you're going to have a field medic available in times of distress? You have to actually know how to use these supplies and what effect they'll have on you, or you run the risk of taking an unexpected and probably unhelpful trip. Our Tip Pick up as many medical books as you can and study, study, study. You'll need to know about more than just acetaminophen if you're going to last more than a few days. Know the basics: general first aid is a must for anyone and all should be thoroughly educated in the use of bandages, syringes, and examinations. It doesn't hurt to understand how biological processes work or to be well-educated in anatomy and physiology. Nutrition, chemistry, and, yes, pharmaceuticals should be among the disciplines you study in order to further your medical expertise. Not everyone makes it to med school, and in the event of a zombie apocalypse chances will most likely decrease further, but you can still be on top of your game if you want to make it out alive. Side Note Learning as much as you can about microbiology, virology, and bacteriology will also be incredibly helpful as you'll better understand the situation you're in. A better understanding almost certainly leads to a higher chance of conquering.
