Rockstar Considering L.A. Noire 2

"We don’t always rush to make sequels, but that does not mean we won’t get to them eventually".

Rockstar is currently considering whether or not to make LA Noire 2, a sequel to their high profile 2011 release. As we have said several times in the past, making a sequel to L.A. Noire is a challenge now that Team Bondi the creators of the game are no longer in existence. However, Rockstar today said they would not "count out the possibility" of a follow-up being made down the line. Here is the quote from the Q&A session on the future of LA Noire:

"While there won€™t be any more DLC or additional content for the current release of L.A. Noire (we€™re all too busy working on Max Payne 3, GTAV and other games to come), don€™t count out the possibility of a new game in the L.A. Noire franchise in the future. We simply have not decided anything. We€™re all very pleased with how that game turned out and are considering what the future may hold for L.A. Noire as a series. We don€™t always rush to make sequels, but that does not mean we won€™t get to them eventually €“ see Max and Red Dead for evidence of that €“ we have so many games we want to make and the issue is always one of bandwidth and timing."
As of right now Rockstar basically has only three announced projects in the works, one being Max Payne 3 which will be released in May of this year, GTA V, and Agent (not even sure if this game is still in production). In other words, once Max Payne 3 is released Rockstar will have two teams (Rockstar San Diego and Rockstar Vancouver) not working on any announced titles. So Rockstar will have to make some decisions as to what projects they want to work on next. Like they said they "don€™t always rush to make sequels" so we may not see a sequel to LA Noire for a while but at least they are considering it. In the mean time it has been a while since Bully was released so maybe that is the sequel we will be getting next hopefully. As for GTA V news we are still going to have to be patient as Rockstar had this to say:
"We know that there are a ton of questions you all have about the game, including release date and lots else, Right now, we are very hard at work on the game and are excited as well to show and tell you more as development progresses - expect that we'll be talking much more about GTAV starting at some point in a few months' time."
My guess is that we will not hear anything about GTA V until the release of Max Payne 3 later in May; then again Rockstar doesn't always show up to E3 so who knows when we will next hear anything about GTA V. Max Payne 3 Release Date: US May 15, EU May 18
