Skyrim: Dragonborn: 5 Reasons It's Awesome, 5 Reasons It Sucks

4. New Enemies

With the new setting comes a bunch of new enemies too, of course, adding some much-needed diversity to proceedings after the last two DLC packs started to feel a little samey. Seekers, foul creatures who will float near you and create clones to cause confusion during combat, are a royal pain in the ass, but fun to take down once you get the hang of their style. Similarly, the Reiklings - grotesque creatures who sort of resemble goblins - are challenging foes early on, adept at hurling spears your way and not taking no for an answer. If you're wading through water, be sure to keep your eyes peeled, because tentacles will try to make short work of you, and in those areas levelled by ash, monsters have formed out of it, keen to ensure you don't leave alive. Basically, Bethesda has ensured that an already ripe and varied enemy base is even more diverse; the first time you meet a new creature is always a wondrous site, and then promptly destroying them is a ton of fun.
