Skyrim: Dragonborn DLC Now Available For UK PS3 Users

dragonborn Bethesda have announced that the Dragonborn DLC expansion is now available for PS3 users in the UK and can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store for 50% off (£6.49) during launch week. Despite being initially released on December 4th last year on the Xbox 360, PS3 fans have once more had to wait for the release of the content on their platform, though thankfully, the wait hasn't been quite as protracted as the Dawnguard and Hearthfire DLCs. The first Skyrim DLC was released way back in June 2012, and PS3 fans have voiced their anger at having to wait to get their hands on any expansions, with Bethesda perpetually citing €œperformance related issues€ as the reason for the delays. Dragonborn, the third and most recent piece of DLC in the official schedule (and the first for PS3 users) sees players encounter Miraak, the first ever Dragonborn and allows them to explore Solstheim, an area found off the north coast of Morrowind. Players will also encounter new towns, dungeons and quests as they traverse the ash wastes and glacial valleys of this new land, becoming more powerful with shouts that bend the will of enemies and even tame dragons.
Your fate, and the fate of Solstheim, hangs in the balance as you face off against your deadliest adversary €“ the first Dragonborn.
According to Bethesda, PS3 users will finally be given access to earlier DLC packs Hearthfire and Dawnguard, both of which have upcoming release dates set in stone, with availability in the UK beginning on February 20th and 27th respectively. The full list of release dates and pricing can be found here. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim €“ Dragonborn is now available on the PlayStation 3, marking the first of three downloadable contents to be released for the popular RPG epic on the console.
