With Elder Scrolls VI announced and well on the way it's time to look back at the previous instalment, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and get ourselves excited for the return to Tamriel and undoubtably many, many caves. There are always caves.
The fifth in the Elder Scrolls series was so popular that what else could follow except extra Downloadable Content? (DLC). The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard was the third expansion for the game following the Dragonborn and Hearthfire expansions. It was first released on the Xbox 360 in English speaking territories in June 2012 and was worldwide by February the next year.
The story in Dawnguard follows the return of the vampire-hunting faction the Dawnguard and their fight against the rising threat of vampires in Skyrim. The DLC provides a bonus quest line with alternate endings affected by your decisions.
