Even if you think it’s ridiculous, your curiosity just might get the best of you. This is the first time players will ever get a chance to take shots at the infamous figure, and what better way than through the lens of a sniper?
Recently, a video showing gameplay from the pre-order incentive for Sniper Elite V2, surfaced through GameTrailers.com. Many people I’ve spoken to about the DLC gave negative feedback, stating it as a ridiculous way to get players to purchase the game. While I understand how many people can see it this way, I stand by my stance that this is an awesome pre-order incentive.
We have seen many years of games highlighting and glorifying war, and I have to ask why does this take it too far? If you knew that Rebellion’s publisher didn’t have enough funding to properly market the game to the likes of Modern Warfare 3, maybe you will see it as a creative way to draw attention to their title. Rebellion is taking matters into their own hands. I can’t help but feel they’ve simply taken the game somewhere many developers were too scared of taking it to in the first place.
I’m sure many of you have always wondered the question of why we’ve never seen Hitler in any of the countless, faceless, WW2 shooters? Now, we’ll finally see him.
Do you support their decision to bring attention to their title? Let me know what you think in the comments below.

If he’s not in a robo-suit and wielding two chainguns then I ain’t interested!
Lol. Fair enough.
When I spoke to Rebellion a few weeks ago their excuse was that they originally wanted to have Hitler be the main threat and final kill of the game, but it didn’t otherwise fit with the plot and setting.
I can see that seeing as it’s just the V2 rockets, but it would have been a pretty awesome finale for the story.
