Sony's E3 Press Conference: 10 Key Details And Games That Stood Out

img_0001_1wtmk_02 Ladies and gentlemen, I have just witnessed greatness. It's 12:01, just after midnight here (I live on the East Coast of America) and Sony wrapped up what was a very productive, very engrossing, and a most amusing Electronic Entertainment Expo press conference. The premier day of E3 began with Microsoft performing some much needed damage control regarding the debacle of an event that was the XBOX One reveal. They raised the ire of, and caught considerable backlash from gamers who felt alienated by the emphasis on the XBOX One's social features and television/movie interaction rather than focusing on actual games - something Sony's PR department has used to take more than a few shots at Microsoft with, to hilarious result. After Microsoft left the stage, the next press conference was from EA, who among other things, debuted a much-sought-after Mirror's Edge 3, the inevitable Battlefield 4 (which looked very impressive running at 60 frames-per-second), and the return of NBA Live, alongside the latest iterations of Madden and Fifa. Following EA, Ubisoft had a brief press conference two hours later, teasing a few games and developments for the two upcoming consoles, however it's more than obvious that Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, is the prize we were all watching for. And it had a proper reveal too: a few hours later in the Sony conference. And after a brief delay, the Sony press conference got underway. For those of you that missed it, weren't able to set up a live stream, or just need clarification, here's what went down:
