Is there any better hype than Star Wars hype?
Leaking out ahead of Star Wars Celebration, EA themselves accidentally tweeted the first trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II, only to remove it within seconds - yet that was all it took for a number of people to immediately download and republish on Youtube.
Comprised entirely of in-engine footage, it's geared towards generating excitement by hinting at a number of things, alongside confirming the likes of a single-player campaign, a huge number of additional heroes and villains, and a host of new locations to do battle online.
Basically, if 2015's Battlefront was DICE testing the waters with the Star Wars license and playing it relatively safe, their sequel is a deep-dive; one that addresses every major concern and complaint, before adding on scores of requested features and characters to boot.
As this leaked trailer was scheduled for the video game segment of Star Wars Celebration, there's potentially more to come in the form of a rumoured 'quick peek' at potential gameplay, but for now - and even if this is all we're getting - there's a ton to dissect.
