Star Wars Battlefront 3: 10 Maps It Has To Have

10. Geonosis SpireGeonosisSpire This was the first incarnation of Geonosis to grace the Battlefront community. I'd consider it much better than the Battlefront II version as this one was much more accurate to the movie with the weaponry they've used and even when playing Battlefront II this was one of the first maps I downloaded for it. The Clone army starting point is equipped with the accurate vehicles and the use of the LAAT gunships on the ground makes things very difficult for the droids in the open sand plains before cover can be reached. This doesn't mean the clones have it easy though. For those brave enough to walk sniper fire is a huge threat from the main spire in the center of the map. The droid controlled command post provides a brilliant spawn location for snipers and without proper support from allies it can be a troopers tomb for just looking around the corner. Geonosis Spire was one of my all time favourite maps for playing the Clone Wars saga and it could only be made much better in the latest installment in the Battlefront saga. Strategically destroying entrances to the central spire command post to funnel enemies out to be picked off by waiting snipers and gunships would be so satisfying. A much larger desert trek to reach the central spire would be much more challenging to the lone trooper and could enforce co-operation between squad mates, or just start a competition to see who can get sniped last. Either way, Geonosis is a must have for snipers and gunship pilots alike.
