Super Smash Bros. - 10 Characters Fans Demand Be Included

Who are you going to vote for in Nintendo's ongoing ballot?

Despite its humble beginnings, Super Smash Bros. is now firmly established as one of Nintendo€™s best-loved and most successful franchises. The original N64 title had a limited budget and was intended to be a Japan-only game, before domestic success led to a worldwide release. The rest is of course history, and the Smash Bros. series has continued to go from strength to strength. The most recent instalments for the Wii U and 3DS have sold in excess of three million and six million copies respectively, placing them amongst the best-selling games for either platform. With 49 playable characters available already, including all the big-hitters like Mario, Link, Samus and Pikachu, you may well think that Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS has more than enough fighters to keep fans entertained. Well, apparently not, as alongside the scheduled additions of Mewtwo and Lucas from the Earthbound series, Nintendo has launched a character ballot allowing gamers to vote for the character they think deserves to join the Smash Bros. roster. The vote is entirely open - you simply have to give the name of the character you€™re voting for, the game that they have appeared in and why you think they should join the series. The internet is already awash with suggestions ranging from the realistic to the ridiculous, so here are the top 10 characters that Super Smash Bros. fans are demanding to be included.
