Tekken 7: 10 Characters That Must Return

8. Miguel Caballero Rojo

Miguel Caballero Rojo is the wild-child son of a conservative family. Despite running away from home as a teen, he kept in contact with his beloved sister. His overprotective and jealous nature led to him not attending his sister€™s wedding directly, standing outside watching the proceedings. Unfortunately, the Mishima Zaibatsu bombed the chapel, killing his sister. With that incident, Miguel vowed to avenge his sister and defeat Jin Kazama. Miguel is an interesting fellow. He doesn€™t have a fighting style, preferring to use techniques he€™s honed through years of street brawls. He€™s a brand new character introduced into the Mishima clan story, and he€™s a debut character from the last numbered Tekken game. One huge mistake fighting games can make is when new characters are introduced as being important, but are then seemingly forgotten by the next game. Especially with the fact that Miguel€™s story never really concluded, there€™s plenty of room to develop him as more than just a vengeful guy with a sister complex. Like with Bruce, he€™s auxiliary to the main story, but still a part of it none the less making it fitting that he return for the sequel.
