The Order: 1886 - 15 Easter Eggs, References & In Jokes You Must See

It might be short, but it's rich.

It might have been billed as the first really major release of 2015, but it's fair to say that The Order 1886 has inspired a fairly mixed response from critics and players alike. While it's being acknowledged as a thing of beauty and a technical feat, there's a pretty serious caveat in that it's ludicrously short and has a very broad definition of what constitutes actual player involvement. That's not at all surprising: at five hours, the game simply isn't worth the cover price it's been released at, no matter how pretty, and the peripheral content like collectibles and side missions is basically absent. In short, squeezing as much out of the game as possible becomes an even bigger priority for fans looking to soak in the terrific visuals and atmosphere that remains the biggest selling point. At least there are several Easter Eggs to find and some rich lore to soak in between all the Quick Time Events while everyone waits for either the inevitable sequel or some hefty DLC...
