17. Star Wars Battlefront II
In this universe there are a lot of RPGs but not many games dedicated to specific battles in the storyline. SWB2 was a perfect addition to the Star Wars gaming collection because it allowed you to take part in infamous battles in this storyline, such as Hoth and Endor, but from the perspective of the actual soldiers, not just the main characters or lofty Jedi. It was basically like a 3-Dimensional, third person arcade game with lasers, and thats always a good combination. Kill enough of the bad guys and you get to do battle as a rockstar such as Luke Skywalker or Vader, which was like Mike Tyson boxing a 10 year old. Lots of fun with just enough Star Wars storyline thrown in to make it feel relevant.
16. Red Faction 2
Easily the gem of the Red Faction series, RF2 was groundbreaking in multiple areas. It had walls you could turn into dust, a rifle that fired bullets AND grenades, and a railgun taken right out of a Schwarzenegger movie. It was also one of the first games to feature a solid multiplayer, albeit without online capability.
