Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - 5 Things We Learned From E3

The rumours turned out to be true, as Naughty Dog once again prove they're the masters of delivering on expectation.

There'd been rumblings about it for a while, but it's finally been officially announced! Nathan Drake will return in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, the latest, possibly greatest, maybe last game in the franchise that let Playstation owners across the globe indulge in their wildest Indiana Jones fantasies, assuming they'd never heard of Tomb Raider. With a fine blend of well-honed combat, exploration and witty characterisation, the Uncharted games have captured our hearts and minds time and again, and the first next gen instalment looks to do so once more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1Rx-Bbht5E From the glittering lights of the E3 gaming expo we got our first look at Uncharted 4 in the form of the enigmatic and mysterious teaser trailer above. Nathan Drake wakes up on a beach looking a little worse for wear, and escapes into a dark forest whilst recounting a conversation with his mentor Sully about how he's been out of the game for a while (nudge nudge, wink wink, Uncharted 3 came out in 2011) and that this might be his last job. It didn't tell us a lot, or, did it tell us plenty about what to expect from the game's fourth main instalment? There's plenty of exciting stuff to dig into with this trailer, from the graphics which apparently boast "twice the polygons" of the Last Of Us' character models, an interesting spin on the Drake character, and some creepy new environments that we can't wait to explore. Here are five things we've learned in light of the Uncharted 4 E3 trailer.
