VIDEO REVIEW: UFC Undisputed 3 [PS3]

After a brief hiatus, the UFC Undisputed series is back. Instead of sticking to the annual tweak formula that many sports franchises opt for, THQ have instead taken their time to hone their art. The result? Well check out our video review bellow and find out. Needless to say, the efforts have definitely paid off. The UFC Undisputed series is a critically acclaimed and best selling series that has proven to be the best and most authentic MMA experience outside of TheOctagon. This isn't the Chuck Norris film about ninjas, this is the famous cage where the best MMA fighters in the world come together to kick the crap out of each other. For those new to UFC, it stands for the Ultimate Fighting Championship and serves as the premier league for MMA. New to UFC Undisputed 3 is the inclusion of Pride. Pride Fighting Championship is Japan's MMA circuit and is often credited as being the largest MMA event in the world. The inclusion of Pride adds a new and exciting layer of depth to the UFC Undisputed series. With new rules and new fighters, Pride matches completely change the experience of playing the game and make the career mode that much more exciting.

It is rare that I find a game genuinely worth a full price purchase regardless of quality. However, UFC Undisputed 3 is one of the rare games that will keep you going for as long as you want it to. There is an almost limitless lifespan to this game and in that regard, I highly recommend its purchase.
