Watch Dogs vs. Assassin's Creed 4: Which Game Will Win?

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Pros: If you are a fan of this series, this is almost a no brain-er. That alone is a pro, because you know what to expect for the most part. You're invested/interested in the story and know hidden blades are way better than cell phones. If you're not a fan and want to get in on the series - firstly, I suggest playing AC3 for a quick summary of the story (and a good experience all around) or just look it up - there is plenty you should look forward to. First off, this is shaping up to be the best pirate game ever. It is open world and there are plenty of side missions to do on sea and land. If you're not running on rooftops, you're boarding ships and doing as you wish with the crew. It is looking to be a unique experience as well, and the multiplayer appears definitely worth a try. Also, hidden blades. Remember that. Cons: If you were a fan - keyword being "were" - there might be a few reasons for that. One of them is probably AC3. The game was divisive to say the least and caused quite a few to lose faith in Black Flag. Annual releases also caused ex-fans to be weary of this game and push away any thoughts of a pre-order or first day pick-up. However, the game itself causes a few worries. It's no secret that the series' free-running is based around parkour, and a game about pirates takes away from this. Also, if you weren't a fan of the naval mechanic in AC3, the chances are it won't win you over in this game. So, there you have it. Now you have some ideas in your head, which game would you choose? Would you join Aiden in the tech-ed out Chicago, or will you side with Edward Kennway and join the crew on the Jackdaw? Let me know in the comments below.
