What Your Favourite Call Of Duty Game Says About You

Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

It€™s hard to believe that this game essentially came out of nowhere in 2007. By the time COD4 was released, gamers tired of going back to WW2 so many times. Then, out of nowhere, Infinity Ward says €œSorry, WW2, where we€™re going, we won€™t need roads€ and jumped right into the future. Well, future for World War 2. It€™s actually our past now since I am writing this in 2013 but the Back to the Future reference works because all of my writing is better with Back to the Future references. Buttheads. Anyway, COD4 was the first time gamers would experience the feeling of being in a real war. You control a character, bond with him, and then, oh, what€™s that? He just died in a nuclear bomb explosion. Guess you better get used to playing as Soap for the next 3 games. The online for this game was also fantastic. The perk system and level system, while not a first for an online game, certainly brought something new to the table. Oh, you hit the top level you can be? Why not prestige and do it all over again? When you saw someone who had prestige 10 times in your game lobby, you knew it was going to be a long night. And that you were going to probably end up swearing at a child. You also may have run the numbers of how much vagina someone who prestiged that much must be swimming in. What It Says About You You hopped on the Call of Duty bandwagon just as the world took notice of this little shooting game. You may have dabbled in COD before, but this game got you hooked. You NEED the red dot sight and UAV. You are a modern (warfare) man. The minute the new iPad or iPhone comes out, YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT BECAUSE NEW AND SHINY. You spent many nights playing online just so you could unlock the next perk. Which was probably martyrdom, because that perk was awesome and I don€™t care how many people I upset by using it.
