Why Elder Scrolls Will Always Be Better Than Fallout

9. TES Is Bethesda's Baby

There’s a wealth of experiences to be had in both universes, but honestly, as someone that’s never quite been able to connect with the wastelands of Fallout, it seems like Bethesda are delaying a far more interesting and unique adventure for the sake of even more sickly green, radiation-burned landscapes. Fallout 76 isn't even what the fans have been asking for at this point, as the nuka-cherry on the cake.

The vibrant, engaging worlds of games such as Morrowind and Oblivion, before we even reach 2011’s triumph de force Skyrim, continuously prove their worth time and time again, building and expanding on the already impressive templates laid out with each release.

In comparison, Bethesda’s influence over the Fallout series so far has been smaller, and received pretty poorly if we look at the disappointment some were faced with after the fourth entry into the series at the very least.
