Wii U: 8 Reasons It's A Failure

1. Superior Competition

And finally, it's all about that dangerous competition. Sony is widely expected to unveil their PS4 at the highly-publicised press conference in New York City next Wednesday, while rumour has it that Microsoft will bow their Xbox 720 at E3 in June. Either way, if Nintendo don't clean their act up fast, these two events are likely to be the death knell for the Wii U, as its technical inferiority will be demolished by the line-up of AAA titles we are expecting to see unveiled. Factor in that a Wii U currently costs £250 despite being technically on-par with previous generation consoles which cost around half that, and gamers will likely be compelled to part with an extra £100 or so and get a console that's actually going to last 7 or 8 more years. Really, buying a Wii U just doesn't make a lot of economic sense, and in these trying financial times, that means a lot. How do you rate the Wii U's potential for the future?
