World of Warcraft Members To Get DIABLO III Free

World of Warcraft members will have a chance to get Diablo III for free if they sign up for the new annual pass subscription. The annual pass is a 12 month subscription to WOW and anyone who signs up for this "Annual Pass will get access to Diablo III completely free when it launches." However, the Diablo III version you will receive for this is the digital download, so there will be no box; it does come with an in game mount "Tyrael's Charger". More than likely Blizzard is setting this new membership pass up because of considerabllost members this past year, but that still doesn't explain how this is a good deal for consumers. This annual pass will cost approximately $180 US, while a new boxed copy of Diablo III will run you $60 US; so unless you are already planning on buying a 12 month WOW subscription this deal will cost you $120 US more than just buying the game outright.
