10. Rock and Sock Connection
The Rock and Sock connection and their subsequent story line must surely stand up as one of the most heart-warming in WWE history. Here we had two performers who oozed charisma of a very different variety: The Rock electric, defiant; Mankind bashful, almost child-like. It was a stable, and then of course a short-lived rivalry, that made the books as one of WWEs most impassioned thanks in no small part to its phenomenal performers, Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Mick Mankind Foley. Fortunately both men appear in the WWE 13 roster (two versions of The Rock in fact, both the Attitude and Modern era versions, as well as Mick Foleys three personas; Mankind, Cactus Jack and Dude Love). Were hoping that the Rock and Sock connection appears as a storyline in the main game but that as yet hasnt been announced. If it isnt then we practically demand it as DLC; because nothing could be more tragically nostalgic than being pummelled by The Hollys as The Rock while a despondent Mankind sits ringside with his back to us.
