WWE 13: 10 Iconic Attitude Era Team-Ups That Should Be Included

Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit As mentioned above I am only going to include parties who have no obvious reason for exclusion. Benoit has most definitely a well-documented and highly publicised reason for his exclusion from any and all WWE products. I must mention this team due to their thrust into Legendary status purely from defeating Triple H and Stone Cold, the two main stars of WWE at the time, for the Tag team Championship and one that would a great scenario in game. At the time the Two Man Power Trip had the World strap, Tag Team gold and had only lost the Intercontinental Title the night before. The two had risen to the top with all 3 of the major championships; their loss to the Canadian duo was the downfall the fans truly craved. On the night, Triple H suffered his severe leg injury that side lined him for the best part of a year but the crowd were going nuts! When Y2J locked in the Walls on Trips on top of the announce table while Stone Cold was at the mercy of the Crossface a rare moment of unbridled joy shivered its way through my body. It was truly an electric night but it has been wiped from the memory banks of the WWE. Such a shame when it was such an iconic image of both Canadians rise to the top but also of Hunters super human strength to allow himself to be caught in Jericho€™s signature submission while his leg muscle was hanging off its bone.
