8. Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant
This legendary bout between two of wrestling's most famous of names took place way back in 1987 at WrestleMania 3. In what was billed at the time as the "biggest main event in sports entertainment", defending WWE champion Hulk Hogan took on the colossus Andre the Giant to close the show. And that they did, as the two behemoths fought one of the most memorable bouts in the illustrious history of the WWF(E). This match conjured up many iconic moments, such as the Hulkster attempting to bodyslam the Giant, only to end up almost losing when the big man instead toppled on top of him and nearly scoring the three count. In the end, though, the people's favourite Hulk Hogan won the bout with his patented leg drop to retain the championship.
