WWE 2K15: 10 Things 2K Can Learn From Past Games

What good's the past, if we can't learn from it?

The WWE video games are an annual tradition for wrestling fans. Every year gamers eagerly await the latest tidbits of information about the next big game, and once the first gameplay trailer is shown the excitement gets raised to new levels. Months are spent speculating over what possibilities lie in the next iteration, and while there are quite a few positives that arrive when the game launches, there are also some slip ups and mistakes along the way. For the longest time THQ published a number of WWE video games until the company went bankrupt. Now defunct, the WWE games have since been auctioned off to 2K Sports. WWE 2K14 was released last year, and it gave gamers and wrestling fans an idea of what 2K Sports can do with the WWE brand. But there's always room for improvement, and sometimes the necessary changes don't have to be innovative. In fact, some of the previous WWE games released over the years have had a number of different gameplay mechanics and features that fans enjoyed tremendously. Here Comes The Pain, a WWE game released back in 2003, continues to be praised as one of the best wrestling games of the series. WWF No Mercy, a 2000 Nintendo 64 title, is heralded as a classic in wrestling video games. These games and more all did something that the fans loved, and if 2K wants to make WWE 2k15 a bit hit that both the critics and the fans can applaud, then here are ten things that they can learn from those games to help make their step into the next generation of games a huge one.
