WWE 2K15: 5 Things That Would Make It A Must-Buy

5. WCW

YoutubeYoutubeThis is one that many people are already speculating on, especially with rumors running wild that Sting and Goldberg will be included in the game. We've seen a recent "Attitude Era" mode, where players can relive many of the magical moments that took place during that time in wrestling, so why not a similar mode where players relive the biggest and best moments in WCW's history? Make all the jokes about what happened to WCW that you want, but there's no shortage of things you could have in this mode, ranging from Hulk Hogan turning on WCW to form the nWo and Goldberg's undefeated streak, to going back even further and looking at the legendary Ric Flair VS Ricky Steamboat trilogy, or even War Games. The list goes on and on. There is so much content to use, 2K Sports will inevitably see complaints that they left this match off or didn't include this moment, so as an added bonus, they could come back to this mode in future years. If they include a "WCW mode" and the game sells/reviews really well, why not go back to it again in a future edition, as long as it isn't the only real thing that changes from year-to-year? With WWE owning the WCW rights and footage, with people like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair under contract, and with the rumors about Sting and Goldberg being involved in the game, this is the perfect time to include WCW in a video game. People like Eric Bischoff, Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Ricky Steamboat, The Giant, Lex Luger, etc are all either under WWE contract or on relatively good terms with the company, so you could have quite the beefy roster for the mode, too. There's no excuse for it not to happen now that Hogan and Sting are in the mix, at this point. It might not have been as easy to pull off in previous years, but it certainly could work now. It would be a good way to help introduce WCW to a different generation of wrestling fans, and would be some nice nostalgia for fans that were around for WCW's run. Of course, the main concern here is wondering whether or not WWE would "allow" for anything WCW-related to come across as looking positive in any way. Their track record with that since Vince bought WCW in 2001 hasn't exactly been stellar, but perhaps with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon having far more power these days, things can change. If it's going to make them some more money, it just makes sense to roll with it.
