WWE 2K15 Delayed Until March 2015?

WWE and 2K to release the next instalment closer to WrestleMania 31?

Take this with a massive pinch of salt but PWInsider are reporting that WWE 2K14 could be delayed until next year. Speculation is the latest game in 2K's popular wrestling game franchise could see its already announced fall release date moved to around March 2014, allowing it to be released around the time of WrestleMania 31. This would allow the advantage of "corporate synergy" that annually happens for the WWE around WrestleMania season. We simply must treat this information as the unsubstantiated rumour that is right now and it's hard to know whether there is any truth to the smoke without fire at this stage. On the surface of things it would seem sheer madness for 2K Games and WWE to push back the release date until next year and miss out on the fall season and Christmas period. There is a reason after all why most major video game franchises are released during this time, despite competing with each other. However, there also must be the argument that WrestleMania and all the global marketing WWE do around that time must be taken into consideration as a mouth-watering prospect for a video game launch. At the moment treat this like an unlikely but intriguing possibility. We'll update more when we know it. Click "next" below to read WWE 2K15: Everything We Know So Far...
