WWE 2K15 Gameplay Trailer Reveals Stunning New Details

The best looking WWE game ever is stacked with potential.

The first official WWE 2K15 gamplay trailer has been released by IGN. With a run length of two minutes, we get to see several WWE superstars in action, including a brief entrance by Sting. The video backs up 2K's previous statements on graphics quality. This really is the best looking WWE game we've ever seen. One shot in the video shows Triple H, who looks every bit as life like as he would in his real WWE entrance. 2K deserve kudos for their attention to detail, texturing the skin and sweat on the wrestlers to make this as close to the real thing as possible. Other wrestlers we get to see include The Undertaker, Kane, Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Nikki Bella. All of the animations are right up to date and reflect 2014's characterisations of the stars. The video also demonstrated the same Goldust, Randy Orton and John Cena footage which we had previously seen in initial teaser videos. Special mention must be made of 2K's efforts with Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan. The new video illustrates the level of thought that 2K have gone to with entrances. Bray's 'lights out, lighters on' entrance is here, reproducing the full eerie quality of the Wyatt family. As for Daniel Bryan, his 'Yes' act is fully playing out in the video, complete with resounding audio of the arena crowd chanting "Yes." As for the gameplay itself? The video doesn't tell us a great deal, it proves to be far more of a visual showcase. What we can say is that it looks smoothly animated compared to WWE 2K14. Key spots like the Cesaro Swing are present and the audio of combat is realistic to what you'd hear in a WWE ring. Another major thing we learned from the game, Brock Lesnar is the WWE Champion. That reflects the current state of play in WWE and illustrates how up to date 2K are with the televised product - Lesnar only won the belt a month ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTmXBBj6PMQ
