WWE 2K15 Hulk Hogan Special Edition Revealed

Whatcha gonna do, brother, when Hulkamania runs wild over WWE 2K15!

WWE 2K15 will be releasing a special Hulk Hogan edition of the game, reveals IGN. The $99.99 package will be available on Xbox One and Playstation 4, with several Hogan related bonuses included. Only 25,000 copies of the special edition will be released, so this is definitely an opportunity for WWE fans to own a real collector item. The full breakdown of the WWE 2K15 Hulk Hogan Special Edition is as follows - * A copy of WWE 2K15 * Premium packaging * Collectible art card hand-signed by Hulk Hogan * Exclusive Funko €œHollywood€ Hulk Hogan vinyl figure * An actual piece of the ring canvas from Hogan€™s Monday Night Raw appearance on March 10th, 2014 * Two playable pre-order launch exclusive Hulk Hogan characters * Two playable pre-order launch exclusive Sting characters From the wrestling fan point of view, the chance to own actual Monday Night Raw ring canvas is very exciting. The collectible card signed by Hogan is also sure to be a valuable piece of memorabilia. The rest of the pack is basically the 2K15 brand polished up a bit. For example, the premium packaging is nice to have, but it doesn't really mean anything to gaming or wrestling fans. Likewise, the Hogan vinyl figure pales in comparison to the ring canvas collectible. As for the download content that comes with the special edition, 2K's marketing is actually a little misleading. They state that the special edition will come with two "exclusive" Sting characters. However, the exclusivity of this isn't actually legitimate; fans pre-ordering the normal WWE 2K15 will also get the two generations of Sting as downloads. As for the Hulk Hogan downloads, they'll be a fun bonus for the serious Hulkamaniacs out there. You'll be able to play as both NWO Hulk Hogan and the Hulk Hogan from WWE circa 2002, at least judging off of 2K's artwork promoting the package. It's certainly going to be an enticing buy for some wrestling fans. Hulk Hogan remains very popular and all 25,000 copies of the 2K15 special edition will surely find a keen market. The collectible factor will drive interest, particularly with the opportunity for fans to own a piece of actual Monday Night Raw ring canvas.
