WWE 2K15 Randy Orton Game Footage Released

Videos of Goldust and Randy Orton making their entrances.

The first game footage from WWE 2K15 has been released by IGN. The two videos highlight Goldust and Randy Orton's ring entrances, demonstrating the visually stunning graphics that 2K promised. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoMBC5XLbk8 These grand entrances are of course taken from the next-gen versions of 2K15. You can immediately see the level of quality here, particularly on Goldust who is beautifully textured on his make up and costume. The reflection of the light and tones of colour are extraordinarily detailed. These graphics really are like nothing we've ever seen before in a WWE game. Orton's rendering is also impressive, 2K have managed to create a level of realism whereby it really does look like a wrestling TV production. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfS5GzDmppU The other thing you'll notice is the animation of the crowd. Full of bodies and all with different looks, you can see that this is the most authentic WWE atmosphere ever created in a game. The reason 2K have been able to make these advancements is down to the next-gen capabilities. The graphics are that cut above what a PS3 or Xbox360 could offer. In this respect, WWE 2K15 could end up having wider implications on the gaming industry. This could be a key game in getting next-gen console sales going. Why would you want to play with inferior graphics on your PS3, when you can upgrade to a PS4 and get the proper playing experience? What is worth noting though, these videos are entrances, not player controlled matches. It will be interesting to see how the graphics hold up when players are actually controlling the wrestlers. Issues of object detection and image jarring have blighted wrestling games in the past. We look forward to hopefully seeing the actual play footage at some point soon.
