The artwork for Sting's promotional role in WWE 2K15 has been released by 2K Sports. The images show the video game will feature Sting in his early 90's gimmick, in addition to his later darker 'Crow Sting'. This is in fitting with 2K's promotional tagline "Two Generations Of Sting". Expect to see these images across various media as 2K use Sting as the selling point for this year's game. It was revealed on Monday Night Raw that Sting is officially this year's pre order bonus, giving gamers the chance to play as WCW's most iconic figure.The atmospheric video package which announced this news was met with loud cheers from WWE fans at Raw, proof that WCW nostalgia is still a viable money maker for WWE. 2K will undoubtedly be pleased with the prime billing that their advertisement got during Raw. It was the biggest talking point coming out of the show and is easily the most anticipated WWE video game release in recent memory. Sting being on board and cross promoted alongside a WWE TV debut is a marketing ploy which will benefit both the game and the TV show. Fans are talking about 2K15 in a way that's even more excitable than last year's WWE 2K14 release. You have to offer up congratulations to 2K who found a winning formula by courting former stars to endorse their game releases. The publicity generated from Ultimate Warrrior's 2K14 involvment and Sting's 2K15 involvment has been an attention grabber to all pro wrestling fans.
