9. WCW Didn't Do Wrestling Games Very Well Back In The Day
Even though WCW was 'where the big boys play' they didn't do wrestling video games very well at all.
Outside of WCW/nWo Revenge, Mayhem, and WCW vs. nWo: World Tour, no dub-c-dub game has been idolised by the wrestling world's gaming universe.
While WWE fans have the unadulterated greatness of the early SmackDown games and the likes of WWF No Mercy to eulogise over, WCW standouts simply don't have that.
It's not as if Ted Turner and his organisation didn't have the budget to create a classic game, they just relied on the wrong people to provide them with one - the likes of The AKI Corporation and FCI were called upon but simply didn't deliver.
There's certainly a gaping hole in the lives of all WCW gamers' lives that a great video game would fill. A feature length showcase mode in WWE 2K17 would do that and then some.
