WWE 2K17: 12 Awesome New Things You Can Do

11. Ladders

Ladder matches are nothing new in WWE games but the animations you see being played out during matches involving them in WWE 2K17 are.

Since what feels like the dawn of time we've had to suffer through the agonising pain of taking part in a ladder match, finding that all out our opponents are knocked out around the ring with a clear path to victory in our sights, before setting up the ladder less than an inch too far away for our Superstar to win the belt as we launch ourselves in the air and land on our shoulder blades on the mat.

We're then knocked out long enough that our opponents can recover and snatch victory for themselves. Oh the pain is true, it's damn true.

Not in WWE 2K17 however as we're getting more than just an aeroplane spin when using the ladders as weapons, for example. This year, the ladder can only be set up in five specific locations: in front of each set of ropes, and in the centre of the ring. All you have to do is get close to one, press the right button, and it gets set up properly every time. One of life's many problems has been eradicated. Forever.

We can also set up ladders like a bridge between the ring apron and barrier in this year's game so that gnarly spot that Ambrose suffered at WrestleMania 31 can be repeated.

Ladder matches just because a whole lot more satisfying people!
