It's almost getting to the point where we know the full roster for WWE 2K17: after three weeks of roster reveals, more than 80 competitors have been unveiled, with several of them getting screenshots to go alongside their announced inclusion. We aren't going to be getting the initially promised 150 playable characters, but once more this will be the most populated wrestling game ever, so there's probably another big name dump to come (if not two).

Around this time of year we generally get to hear more about the forthcoming 2K release, thanks to 2K's appearance at SummerSlam, but this year it looks to have been squeezed out of such a high billing position on the schedule. Information will no doubt drop (especially as we have reveals from Gamescom lined up already, but the focus probably won't be quite so strong at the PPV as it has been in the past.

IGN are the lucky guys who get to do the announcing in place of WWE at SummerSlam, with roster reveals, screenshots and gameplay videos already in the wild, and by all accounts the game looks like a step up from last year. Likenesses are better, gameplay has been tweaked and some fan favourite features have returned. Get hyped, it's going to be a big one.

Here are the brand new in-game screenshots you need to see...

22. Ya Boy, AJ Styles

It's ya boy, and he looks better than ever. Which is to say he looks incredible, because he hasn't actually ever been in a WWE 2K game, has he?

Style is just one of the debutant superstars this year, and while the CAWs last year (of which he was one of the most popular) were great, there's nothing quite beats the real thing.

Now all that remains is seeing how highly rated he is...
