Tuesday saw the official release of the "Future Stars" downloadable content pack for WWE 2K17.
Now, fans will be able to play as Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Tye Dillinger, Mojo Rawley, and Austin Aries.
All five men have seen their profile raised greatly since the wheels for WWE 2K17 were first set in motion, forcing the game to make an accommodation. Aries made his NXT debut at TakeOver: Dallas, while Anderson and Gallows arrived on Raw in April, so odds are that none of the three men were included in initial plans for the game.
As for Rawley and Dillinger, both have been with the company for several years, but had great success in 2016. Rawley, a regular tag team partner of Zack Ryder, was called up to Smackdown in the summer's WWE draft, making him part of the main roster for the first time in his career. Dillinger, meanwhile, finally seemed to find a following in the past year, with his "Perfect 10" gimmick making him a favorite of NXT crowds.
The Future Stars pack costs $8.99 and is available for Playstation 4, XBox One, Playstation 3, and XBox 360.
