You might have forgotten that Tyler Bate was the WWE UK Champion, or that the United Kingdom had a Championship in their honour at all, but that's all about to change after a productive weekend in Norwich.
Bate, after Pete Dunne defeated Trent Seven at WWE UK Live on Sunday, will be defending the UK Title at NXT TakeOver: Chicago towards the end of the month prompting Jim Ross to utter "business is about to pick up" under his breath, no doubt.
The Moustache Mountain man and Bruiserweight have to be the two leading contenders from the British contingent to land a spot on the WWE 2K18 roster. With Bate being champion and current face of the division, if you will, Dunne was the only member to have any modicum of story put into him at the UK tournament in January signalling perhaps that WWE have higher hopes for him than most.
Who knows, we might get the full set of British Superstars, or a large chunk of them at least, in the way of a DLC pack. There's certainly a market for one on this side of the pond.
