6. Road To Glory Scratches An Online Itch

It's a shame to see that MyCareer is strictly offline, but those wishing to share stories with their friends online shouldn't worry too much. This year, 2K have added a new mode called 'Road To Glory', and this looks set to scratch the online itch. Let's just hope people get more creative than 2K's own Rey Mysterio rip off. Seriously, why are they so lame at creating their own wrestlers?

Competing against others across the world online, everyone will be trying to work their way up the ladder to secure a slot on WWE pay-per-view. From there, titles can be won and making the card at WrestleMania appears to be the end goal. If 2K are feeling particularly geeky, they could even make players start on the house show circuit before fighting their way onto TV.

That may be a pipe dream, but this new mode certainly isn't. To anyone who longed for something more than random online matches, Road To Glory is perfect. As with any new feature, it'll take time for 2K to get it right. Playing online with a story represents progress though.
