Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane has made an impact since arriving in the NXT women's division, with additional appearances in the women's Royal Rumble Match and the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal allowing casual fans to get a glimpse of her work. Many may have been annoyed with 2K for not including her in the DLC portion of WWE 2K18.
The Pirate Princess made her name known due to her work in the all-women Japanese promotion Stardom. Alongside Io Shirai and Mayu Iwatani, Sane was classed as one of the best wrestlers in the world. Her diving elbow drop, known today as The Insane Elbow, earned her fame worldwide, and resulted in her being signed for last summer's Mae Young Classic tournament.
Kairi has surely made the cut to be on-disc this year, right? The Mae Young Classic finals took place in September, giving 2K plenty of time to get her model scanned in preparation for her inclusion.
While off school sick one day in November 2008, Adam sat down with Survivor Series on in the background. He was hooked ever since. With access to channels showing WWE and Impact Wrestling programming, he also keeps on top of ROH, PWG, NJPW, ICW, Defiant Wrestling, and PROGRESS Wrestling.
