Following much speculation after WWE began running teaser trailers on their official website WWE.com, the rumours have almost now been completely confirmed that the apparent forthcoming ‘Revolution’ is related to the soon to be announced WWE ’13 video game.
The newest trailer released features past wrestlers such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and De-Generation X. At the end of the video a voice is heard asking:
‘Do I have everyone’s attention now?’
closing out with a message that reads:
‘The Next Revolution Is Coming… May 28, 2012′
Rumours circulating suggest that this will be the date that either WWE or THQ make a major announcement about the upcoming video game.
There was big speculation surrounding the video that it was for an impending debut or a return, the most notable name that was in circulation was current TNA star Matt Morgan. At the end of the video a face is quickly shown then faded out, many believed that the person in question was Matt Morgan. Morgan who left WWE in 2005 had recently confirmed his desire to return to the company as his current TNA contract nears an end. These callings however have been shot down with claims that the video packages are not for a debuting or returning superstar or stable.
WWE ’13 is currently marked for around October release date later this year.
