Zelda: Breath Of The Wild - 5 Problems Nobody Admits Need Fixing

5. Loading Times

One of the more noticeable technical hurdles that Breath of the Wild unfortunately suffers from are long load times.

Granted, the massive size of Hyrule does excuse the game somewhat, but loading screens seem to appear a bit too much when trying to adventure across the land. Whenever entering or exiting a shrine, starting the game up or even after dying (you'll be doing that a lot), you'll have to go through a fairly long loading time to get back into the action.

This issue is definitely helped by the frequent use of checkpoints and autosaving but this doesn't negate the presence of load times. This is an issue that would be very difficult to fix, as it is mostly to do with the console hardware itself. Patches have been introduced into other games to help speed up load times, so perhaps this could be implemented here.
