13 Famous People Who Died On Friday 13th

It's that time of the year again. Keep calm and don't die.

Friday 13th Skeleton Friday the 13th - a day which brings with it superstition, freaky occurrences and fear. Interestingly though, they are not as rare as you might first think. In fact, not a single year passes without a Friday the 13th in it. Some have as many as three, and there can only be a maximum of 14 months between one Friday the 13th and the next. In 2015, there will be the maximum three Friday the 13ths - there was already one in February, here is March's, and there will be another one in November as well. That could end up costing the US economy more than £1.5billion ($2.4billion) if historian Donald Dossey's research is accurate, because he estimates that every Friday 13th loses the USA £500million ($800million) because people refuse to fly and do business on this day due to the superstitions associated with the date. So superstitious of this day are Westerners that there is actually a recognised scientific phobia of Friday the 13th - with the quite frankly ridiculous name of "friggatriskaidekaphobia" or "skeviphobia". But it is not without basis that people hold such a fear for this fateful day - some freaky and unusual happenings have taken place on Friday the 13th, including numerous murders and obscure deaths. So, here are the 13 freakiest and scariest deaths that have occurred on Friday the 13th.
