10 Actors You Didn't Know Are Also In A Band

9. Johnny Depp - The Hollywood Vampires

The Hollywood Vampires is not Depp's first foray into the musical world - in 1993 he formed the short-lived band P along with vocalist Gibby Haynes, fellow actor Sal Jenco and songwriter Bill Carter. The band was occasionally accompanied by the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea (an enthusiastic contributor in the music world) and The Sex Pistols' Steve Jones. Said to have been playing at The Viper Room the evening River Phoenix died, the band did not last long after their first album, failing to record a follow-up to 1995's debut P. However, named after a crew of famous male rock stars (which included members like Ringo Starr, Harry Nilsson, John Belushi and Keith Moon), The Hollywood Vampires was announced in 2015 and features Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry. Not a bad line up, is it? With shows approaching at the end of the year and an album already in the works, it'll certainly be interesting to see what musical direction the band goes in, and whether or not Depp brings his eccentricities oft shown on-screen to the table. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bADuQ-Z33uc
