Ah, Michael Cera. For years he's been awkwardly mumbling his way into people's hearts, and now he's singing there too. Los Angeles-based indie band The Long Goodbye features fellow actor Clark Duke (who famously co-starred with Cera in Superbad) and drummer Christian Buenaventura. Formed sometime in the mid-2000s, the band play (or perhaps played - their recent output has been nothing short of slight) melancholic folk music recorded in low fidelity. Track titles include Can I Call You Mine, Leading Man and Pilgrim, and they also recorded a cover of Weezer song El Scorcho. The band's Myspace page cites artists like Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson, Sufjan Steves and The Decemberists as influences. Recently, Cera has also released an 18-track solo collection titled True That, which can be streamed in its entirety on his Bandcamp page. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7py1yW1Aeg
