10 Best Rappers Of All Time

9. Ice Cube

Before he starred in Friday and 21 Jump Street, Ice Cube was the embodiment of a gangster rapper. Obviously he made his beginnings in one of the most legendary groups to ever exist in N.W.A, but it's when he left the west coast hip hop pioneers that people began to realise how good of a rapper he really was.

It's difficult enough putting out one classic album, but Cube managed to put out three in a row. His debut album AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted was gangster rap at its finest and showcased Cube's lyrical prowess to the masses.

His second album, Death Certificate, was AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted on steroids. It was bigger, bolder, harder and didn't care about what you thought about it. Although he didn't let up with the hardness in his lyrics and beats for his third album, The Predator, he managed to slip in classic tracks like It Was A Good Day to make it his most cohesive and fun albums to listen too.

He might be busy in comedies nowadays, but he earned his rap legend status a long time ago.
