9. Ex-Iced Earth Singer Matt Barlow Announces New Band, Sentinels
This week began with some great news for old-school Iced Earth fans, as the band's most acclaimed and beloved vocalist, Matt Barlow, announced a new project simply called Sentinels.
Formed of Barlow and keyboardist/percussionist Jonah Weingarten, the two-man project's mission statement is to seemingly blend grand, cinematic orchestrations with powerful vocals.
They remain mysterious at the moment, but hopefully we will learn much more about the enigmatic Sentinels as the year progresses.
