10 Hard Rock & Heavy Metal Bands That WILL Headline Download Festival

9. Bring Me The Horizon

Whether you dismissed Bring Me after the throat-shatteringly forced early days when Oli Sykes was still honing his skills, or you came back for Sempiternal and That's The Spirit, the band have been at the forefront of the festival scene for over a decade.

Scoring their highest slots back in 2007 and 2009 on the second stage (again, off the back of material that appealed to all but the most determined hardcore fans), they've since dovetailed off and been embraced by Leeds & Redding crowds instead.

It's not a surprise given how accessible, mainstream and downright soul-stirring their latest output has been, but combined with tracks like Shadow Moses, Sleepwalking and Empire from Sempiternal alongside It Never Ends or F**k from There Is a Hell, Bring Me could absolutely make it work.

Oli Sykes has always had enough energy and conviction to convert anybody he's put in front of, and now the band have almost three albums of perfect festival material, so let's see them put it to best use.
